My position
Canva and Midjourney operate at different ends of visual production. One is a repeatable assembly and brand surface; the other is a generative exploration surface. Both are capable of producing attractive work that says very little if the information hierarchy and editorial point of view are missing.
My standard is whether the visual clarifies a decision, carries a recognizable system, and can be produced consistently across the formats where it will actually appear.
