SharetoBoard is an independent third-party product ecosystem. Poppy membership is separate and managed by Poppy. SharetoBoard is not affiliated with or endorsed by Poppy.
The project decision
Presenters lose eye line and delivery quality when the script, camera, controls, and recorder compete across windows.
Who it is for: Creators, presenters, educators, and Poppy users who need an always-visible prompt layer without sending their script to SharetoBoard.
What works
Verified or explicitly documented behavior.
- Scripts stay in memory, render with textContent, and are not persisted.
- Document Picture-in-Picture provides an always-on-top HUD with pacing and presentation controls.
- Riff Mode and a deterministic finish countdown are implemented.
- Optional voice follow uses bounded transcript matching and is off by default.
Known limitations
What this project is not allowed to claim yet.
- Chrome speech recognition may use a browser-vendor service; it is not an on-device guarantee.
- The Poppy R helper emits synthetic keyboard events and remains experimental until authenticated acceptance.
- The current Chrome and authenticated-Poppy matrices are still open.
- Role-badged icons, truthful Store imagery, review, and Store-installed verification remain open.
