What the extension handles

Done Here? locally processes website origins you enable, your selected exit rules, selected Chrome site-data types, and bounded operation metadata. Authentication cookies may be deleted, but cookie values are not copied into extension storage or transmitted to Top AI Tools For.

Website access

The extension has no install-time host access. During onboarding, the user may grant optional access to ordinary HTTP and HTTPS websites so previously unseen sites can show the Done Here? prompt automatically. Toolbar-only use remains available without that broad optional grant, and Chrome controls the permission.

What is stored locally

• Website origin and display label for saved rules.
• Protected, Ask, or Ignored rule state.
• Selected action, automation setting, and last-tab setting.
• Prompt and Maximum-cleanup preferences.
• Bounded local operation metadata needed to explain recent actions.
• Session-scoped tab-to-origin state needed for final-tab behavior.

What is not collected or transmitted

Done Here? does not send cookie values, passwords, authentication tokens, page content, form entries, personal communications, financial information, or browsing data to the developer. There is no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, developer telemetry endpoint, account system, or remote executable code.

Permissions

The extension uses Chrome capabilities needed for its visible session-exit functions, including local extension storage, scripting for the page-level prompt and reliable visible sign-out detection, and browsing-data deletion for user-selected cleanup actions. The current product does not request the tabs permission or the cookies permission.

Use and transfer

Local data is used only to provide the session-exit functions the user chooses. It is not sold, licensed, transferred for advertising, shared with data brokers, used for creditworthiness, or used to build unrelated behavioral profiles.

Retention and deletion

Saved rules and preferences remain until the user removes or resets them. Uninstalling the extension removes its extension storage through Chrome. The product provides controls to remove rules, revoke optional site access, and reset local product state.

Cleanup limitations

Maximum Cleanup removes only the local site data Chrome exposes to the extension and the user has selected. It does not erase saved passwords, server logs, account history, records retained by the website, or sessions on other devices. Cookie cleanup can affect sibling subdomains when a cookie is scoped to a broader registrable domain.
