Decision brief

ChatGPT vs Gemini

Two general AI systems I have used side by side. The useful decision is about workflow role, context, and surrounding product stack—not a permanent model winner.

ChatGPTversusGemini
The short decisionUse ChatGPT as the broad execution loop when you need to move across planning, writing, coding, and revision. Favor Gemini when Google-stack alignment, multimodal experiments, or an independent second pass creates the clearer advantage.

Workflow conclusion

For difficult work, I give both systems the same bounded decision and source material. Agreement increases confidence only after source review; disagreement tells me where the research or specification is still weak.
